Catalyst Screening Technician

To build this clean future, H2U Technologies is seeking a hardworking and passionate Catalyst Screening Technician as a key member of the team. The Catalyst Discovery team is responsible for synthesizing, characterizing and screening electrocatalysts for performance and stability. This will involve wet chemistry synthesis, x-ray characterization, and electrochemical testing. Team members will be responsible for analyzing the data and summarizing the results to the rest of the team.
A background in Chemistry, Physics, Materials Science, or associated engineering fields.
Experience with electrochemistry, solution-based synthesis, and x-ray characterization preferred.
Highly attentive to detail with strong organizational and communication skills
Able to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work with minimal supervision
Comfortable with on-the-fly problem solving and always looking to improve system performance
Perform electrochemical tests and then work up, analyze, and summarize the results
LabVIEW and Python experience a Major Plus!
Manage, troubleshoot, and maintain solution-based deposition systems.
Maintain inventory of supplies as well as a clean and organized work area
Champion safety in a fast-paced laboratory environment
Salary Range: $85,000 - $105,000
