Senior Electrolyzer Fabrication Engineer

 

THE ROLE

To build this clean future, H2U Technologies is seeking a hardworking, passionate and well-experienced processing engineer as a key member of the PEM electrolyzer development team. Working with other scientists and engineers, you will be primarily responsible for establishing capabilities needed for manufacturing MEAs or CCMs for PEM electrolyzers, in high throughput and automation.  You will also be responsible for leading the testing and evaluation of the MEAs/CCMs.  

 

A successful candidate should have direct experience and knowledge in fabricating MEAs/CCMs in the industries of PEM electrolyzer or fuel cells. 

 

The candidate should be a good team player and have a good understanding of the sciences and technologies involving the PEM electrolyzer, and demonstrated abilities of independently executing assigned projects, and communicating well with others. Electrolyzer or Fuel Cell Design Experience a Major Plus!
 

REQUIREMENTS
  • Strong background in fabrication processing, with associated knowledge and skills.

  • Experience in developing manufacturing processes.

  • Experience with designing and optimizing catalyst Inks and processes for applying the catalyst Ink onto PEM membrane, GDL and PTL.

  • 5+ years of Industry working experience.

  • BS degree in mechanical/electrical/chemical engineering or chemistry/ physics/material sciences.

  • Electrolyzer or Fuel Cell Design Experience a Major Plus!

 

Salary Range: $100,000 - $140,000

Similarly, current electrolyzer technology is complex and expensive. H2U’s response is the Gramme 50 GS series PEM Electrolyzer, a novel and disruptive design, made to drive rapid and large-scale adoption of grid scale electrolysis.
