Tom spent 18 years on the front lines of the solar revolution as the CEO of SunPower and has more than 25 years of experience in leadership roles at disruptive technology and energy organizations.

Before joining SunPower, Tom was CEO at Silicon Light Machines, Inc., an optical solutions subsidiary of Cypress Semiconductor Corporation; before that, he held the role of VP and general manager of the Business Connectivity Group of 3Com Corp. Tom serves on the boards of Cree, Inc., H2U, the Silicon Valley Leadership Group, and University of Wisconsin College of Engineering Industrial Advisory Board, and the Marquette University Board of Trustees.

Tom is passionate about investing in the companies that will lead us to a better, cleaner, more equitable future. He cares deeply about creating equal access to a healthy environment and reversing the impacts of climate change for those that have been disproportionately impacted by environmental harm. Tom believes that together, we can change the way our world is powered.
